چکیده
conditions to form polar dyes; other common amino acid and nucleoside components did not react. The reactions of Nbenzoyloxy-MAB with proteins, nucleic acids, and their com ponents may be useful prototypes in studies on the proteinand nucleic acid-bound dyes formed in vivo by the aminoazo dyes. The biologic and chemical properties of Ar-benzoyloxyMAB parallel those of the carcinogenic aromatic N-acyloxy amide Ar-acetoxy-2-acetylaminofluorene and lend further support to the concept that the carcinogenic aromatic amines and amides are activated in vivo by esterification of their A^-hydroxy metabolites.

متن کاملA review on the inhibitory potential of Nigella sativa against pathogenic and toxigenic fungi
Nigella sativa (N. sativa) grows in various parts of the world, particularly in Iran. It has been traditionally used as a folk remedy to treat a number of diseases. The seeds of this plant contain moisture, proteins, carbohydrates, crude fiber, alkaloids, saponins, ash, fixed oils and essential oil. The major components of the essential oil are thymoquinone, p-cymene, trans-anethole, 2-methyl-5...
متن کاملChemical constituents of Amygdalus spp. oil from Iran
Background and objectives: Amygdalus with a number of endemic species grow vastly in Iran. Edible sweet almond (A. communis), is cultivated in many countries due to its pharmaceutical, nutritional and cosmetic importance; while almond oil which is rich in oleic acid is known for its economic interest. In the present study, the amount and constituents of oil of six Amygdalu...

Living organisms can sense and respond to external and internal stimuli. Response isdemonstrated in many forms including modulation of gene expression profiles, motility, secretion, cell death, etc. Nevertheless, all forms share a basic property: they depend on sensingsmall changes in the concentration of an effector molecule or subtle conformational changes ina protein and invoking the appropri...
